South Lanarkshire Council are excellent.  I just emailed them with her name and date of death, my great grandfathers name, and they located my great grandmother's grave for me at Westburn Cemetery - she also lived in Rutherglen.

Sent the email to them one evening, and the reply was in my box that night - free!

Its probably Rutherglen Old Parish Church on Main Street that your ancestor is buried.

The church has been rebuilt twice on the same site since 1859.
The last build also covered part of the old burying ground.

The information from surviving inscriptions at that time are found on the wall, just inside the church.
( Someone had foresight to log them before they were excavated!)

Whilst there are still plenty of headstones in the churchyard, many are illegible, some are completely buried or no stone existed for the deceased.

I don't know if this graveyard has ever been transcribed and I've never found a  corresponding memorial inscription book.

Edit:
To the best of my knowledge, at 1859, this was the only burial ground in the parish of Rutherglen

I have a list of lair (plot) owners for Rutherglen Old Parish Churchyard (on Main Street), probably compiled sometime in the last quarter of the 19th century. No family with the name Martin listed, did she have another name, married or maiden surname perhaps?
Paterson, Torrance, Gilchrist - Hamilton Lanarkshire.
McCallum - Oban, McKechnie - Ross of Mull Argyll.
Scrim - Perthshire.
Liddell - Polmont,
Binnie - Muiravonside Stirlingshire.
Curran, McCafferty, Stevenson, McCue - Co Donegal
Gibbons, Weldon - Co Mayo.
Devlin - Co Tyrone.
Leonard - County Donegal & Glasgow.
