Emmerline Musgrave b.1887 Barnsley in 1891 and 1901 census please

I am trying to trace the ancestry of Emmerline Musgrave who was born in Hoyland Common, Barnsley in 1887. I know she married Alfred Chandler but if anyone could point me in the direction of that wedding that would be very helpful too!

Thank you for the information! Hopefully this is the family I am looking for. I have been advised that Emmeline had brothers Bill, John and Arthur and a sister Lucy. I see that there are births for a Lucy registered in the Barnsley area in 1895 and an Arthur in 1900 which could be the same family though I don't see a John. Bill could well be Willie. Can you confirm any of this?

Thanks again,
Phil

Alfred Chandler married in 1905 Barnsley either to a Alice Ann Hall or Sarah Elizabeth Richardson.

There is a marriage in 1920  Barnsley for a Emily Musgrave to a Alfred Ashton.

using names from Census and "matching d.o.b with freebmd I think Henry and Mary Ann Musgrave had at least 10 children -they may have had more who died in infancy and so don't ppear on the census
1. Agnes Musgrave - I cannot find a birth reg in Barnsley district -  last appears on 1901 census - think this is possibly her death reg Sept qtr 1906 age 24 Barnsley9c 148
all other children's births registered in Barnsley reg dist and are from FreeBMD
2. Willie Jun qtr 1883 9c 237 It is not unusual for the name to be known as "Bill" or "William" in later life -my grandfather was registered Willie but always known as William
3. Francis Jun qtr 1885 9c 232
4. Emmeline Sept qtr 1887 (as posted previously)
5. Cecelia Mar qtr 1891 9c 231
6. Rowland Jun qtr 1893 9c 258
7. Lucy Sept qtr 1895 9c 258
8. Walter Dec qtr 1897 9c 279
9. Arthur mar qtr 1900 9c 266
10. John Henry Jun qtr 1903 9c 299 this is possibly John Henry's death reg -John Henry Musgrave born 20 April 1903 death reg Jun 1984 age 81 Barnsley 3 205

Hope this helps

Thank you all very much. It certainly looks as if I have the right family though as usual this begs a lot more questions! The marriages are an enigma with this family. Henry Musgrave is recorded as marrying Mary Ann Arnold in Barnsley - in the last quarter of 1891! In the 1881 census he appears boarding with Henry and Lucy Hickling and their ten children, the eldest of whom is also a Mary Ann and of an age that matches that of Henry's wife in 1891. As for Emmeline's marriage to Alfred Chandler . . . I believe that their daughter had a step brother called Arthur but I don't know his surname. Any further revelations gratefully received!

Phil

Alfred Chandler married Sarah Elizabeth Richardson - they lived in Jump (where the Musgraves lived)

There is a death reg FreebMD
Sarah E Chandler Dec qtr 1918 age 32 9c 1961

on electoral rolls from 1931-1948 there is Alfred and Emily Chandler living at 41 Westfield Crescent Dearne

There are Chandler children -mother's maiden name Musgrave birth reg's 1924 onwards

wonder if Emmeline (1939 index she has her name entered as Emily(Emmeline) Chandler) used the name Emily and married Alfred Chandler between Dec 1918 and Mar qtr 1924

I cannot find a marriage-maybe it has been misentered?
