Samuel born 1855 in Moffat?

I am seeking more information about Samuel Marchbank born about 1855 in Moffat, Dumfriesshire.

I see on FindMyPast that in 1861 he was at Chapel Street Moffat and in 1871 at Star Close with his parents.
Samuel married Sarah Ann Chivers 31 Dec 1877 in Walcot, Bath, Somerset.

Parents were John; born 1817 in Moffat and Jane Marchbank born 1825 in Annan.

This looks to be Samuel's birth and christening in 1854 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XYMH-LV7

The images are available to view from the Old Parish Registers on the pay to view site www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/  Official registration started in Scotlandd in 1855. The OPR entry may be no more than a basic one line unfortunately...but at least you have his dates.
