1901 -

William J Brome   30 b.    Walworth, Newington. Laundryman
Rose Brome   wife 36 b. Camberwell. Laundress
Rose Brome   dau 11 b. Newington
Lilly Rice   visitor 11 b. Newington

RG13 Piece 374 Folio 43 Page 24. 54-56 Rodney Street, Newington

I cannot find a marriage for a William J Brome and a Rose ??. Equally there doesn't appear to be a birth record for Rose Brome born c.1890.

In 1891 William J Brome is still living with his mother and Lilian Rice aged 1 -

Perhaps another set of eyes may prove or disprove this theory.

I wonder if Rose and little Rose are together in 1891 somewhere.

There's a Rose Ellen Burt born Lambeth Dec 1889 *

If you find William and Rose in 1911 the no of children for the marriage is interesting

There's a William Broom marriage in Dec 1890 Wandsworth with one of the two brides a Rose but her surname in Leech so probably nothing to do with this. 

Yep nothing to do with this - separate couple.

She's not with Mum and stepdad - got excited for a minute when i saw some "Botts" with them, as that could be a mistranscribed Burt, but it's daughter Edith, her husband Elisha Bolt and their children

Hi. Thank you all. Elisha Bolt is a relative. If he is transcribed as Bott it probably explains why I couldn't find hi. I know Elisha and Edith had no children

Looks like they had at least two children William James who died 1916 in Flanders and Louisa Mary.
Looks like Edith Marries  a George Power and the children are shown as Power on the next census. William James dies as Bolt.

Yes. Confused for a minute. Elisha Miller Bolt was my great grandfather and Edith was Edith Martha Southgate.[Rose`s sister] Elisha died when my grandmother was 3mths old [1898] and she married George Power
