Reginald Douglas Hawker
« on: Sunday 28 August 16 23:41 BST (UK) »
Reginald Douglas Hawker was born 1909 in Beaminster Dorset.  I have paid for a subscription for  a website have found him on the 1939 census. He is on as birthday 23 04 1909 resident in Hampshire.  This corresponds to birth in 1909 in Dorset.  This same paid for subscription allow me to view 1911 census - but can I find him!  Can I heck.

I am NOT looking for a look up.  But I am asking if anybody, much cleverer than myself, see find him.  He's not a direct line so I don't want to expend for a certificate unless I have to.  Therefore I don't have a parent to search for. So I am asking if anybody has any pointers I can follow, as everything I do yields nothing.

Kind regards

KA

I think we have just struck the motherload.  Many thanks for the pointer.  Birthplace on the 1911 census corresponds with birth registration district.  Never though to go with middle name only!  Sometimes one can't see for looking

Many thanks.  Much appreciated.
