Hi,

There are quite a few cemeteries that would be relevant.

Carrigrohane Beg  - a tiny little cemetery with a small old church ruin very close to the Anglers Rest pub.

Curraghkippane - quite a large cemetery which can be accessed from the Lee Road ( Ballincollig end) or from Clogheen

Inniscarra cemetery -  a very old Church of Ireland ruined church with both C of I and RC burials

St Peters C of I Carrigrohane - in the middle road between  Model Farm Road and the Carrigrohane Straight Road.

Ballincollig cemetery - adjacent to St Mary & St Johns church in Ballincollig, opened in early 1960's with the first burial there of my Grand uncle the Parish priest at that time.

The cemeteries in Blarney might not be ruled out either -  Garrycloyne C of I in the middle of Blarney village or St. Marys a mile or so outside Blarney village.

Do you have a name and I could look up my photos to see if I have one that might be relevant to your search?  I have taken photos of most of the above with the exception of the Ballincollig one.

Celtic Liberty thank you for all the information on possible burial places.  The name is Michael Deady who lived in Carrigrohane

Hi again,

I had a look at the various cemeteries and didn't come across any for Deady sorry, it doesn't mean he isn't buried there I may have missed it.

Could I suggest you check the newspaper reels at either the Cork City library or the Cork County library on the Carrigrohane Straight road.   It would probably tell you which cemetery he was buried in.   You could phone one of the libraries ( I would suggest the County one as the City local studies section are not open on Monday /Tuesday due to staff shortages!! - ) and they might do the look up for you.  Let us know how you get on.
