My grandfather Michael Nolan was married on the 12 Jan 1890 to Mary Ann Toole in Dalkey from the marriage certificate I can see his fathers name is also Michael Nolan and one of the witnesses was a John Nolan.
It was not until I saw the parish record of the event that I found that this showed both parents for Michael being Michael Nolan and Mary Robinson and they lived in the Lucan area of Dublin. The address for John Nolan was also given as Eskey, Lucan.
I then searched the 1901 and 1911 census and found a Mary Nolan (widow) living with two daughters Mary and Catherine.
I also found John with his wife and family on the 1901 census and have obtained their marriage certificate from which I have found his parents to be Patrick Nolan and Rose Caulfield. From the age shown on the census is John a brother to Michael or a cousin?
I have not been able to find a marriage for Michael Nolan and a Mary Robinson but I have found a marriage to an Anne Robinson on the 19 April 1856 in Arles, Killabin, is this the same person?
I have found 7 baptism records for Michael Nolan and Anne Robinson but is this the same family? Children from baptism records being James (b1858), John (b1862), Michael (b1865), Christy (b1868), Mary (b1870), unknown male (b1864), William (b1873).
Michael Nolan was baptised on the 1 September 1865, parish shown as Arles, I have also found the Civil Birth record showing he was born 26 August 1865 parish shown as Ballylinan.
A William Nolan married a Kate Robinson on the 25 August 1859 in Arles Killabin, is this the same family? This would make William an uncle to my Michael.
The 1911 census shows Mary as a widow but she states she was married for 32 years and had 7 children.
If anyone recognises any of this to confirm it is the same family I would appreciate any feedback.
