Uckfield Union Workhouse - Elizabeth Hemsley
« on: Saturday 03 September 16 14:35 BST (UK) »
My Gt Gran Elizabeth Grace Hemsley nee Farnes died in Uckfield Union Workhouse in 1913. By chance I will be in the area next week. Does anyone know how I can trace where she was buried? The family were living in Mayfield.

Many thanks for your help.

Possibly the Snatts Road Cemetery, Uckfield?

She  could have been buried in St. Dunstan's Churchyard, Mayfield http://www.stdunstansmayfield.org.uk/churchyard/

Thank you both for your replies. I suspect she was buried at St. Dunstan's. Maybe I will get to the Keep.

Many thanks.
