With Northampton being important centre of shoe making, shoe agent is quite possible for Mary's father's occupation - I read it the same. Some sort of commercial traveller perhaps - travelling in shoes ;D

Could be Mary warren born 11 sept 1832 baptised with her four brothers Thomas, James, john and George kings head lane chapel independent Northampton 39 June 1837 parents Thomas & Mary.
