Hi Sinanne & annclare
Sinann,
Please accept my apologies for not replying earlier. We have been looking after one of the Grandsons today so the only time I have left for family history is in the evening. This goes for the whole of this week. Looking after the grandchildren is great fun but they tire us out.
The marriage record of Kathlene Audley is very interesting, not only is her father Henry Audley but one of the witnesses is a James Audley, possibly her brother. This James Audley could be the James Audley who married Catherine Cummins in 1893 and whose father is also Henry Audley. I thought I would try and compare the signatures on the two marriage certificates for James Audley but failed as he appears to have signed with an x on his own marriage certificate.
I agree that her age in the 1901 census is not consistant with the daughter reported in the newspapers to have been born in 1864. However as Elizabeth recorded in the 1911 census that she had had 10 children if we include James, Kathleen and a daughter born in 1864 we have eight of her 10 children.
Re your link to the historic graves website somebody else has given me the same link, but thank for the link.
With regard to the link to the marriage at which Henry Audley was a witness the Groom was called James Lindsay I assume he was the brother of Henry Audley's wife Elizabeth Lindsay.

Many thanks for your response
With regard to the death of Francis Peter Audley when I looked at the death registration indexes I found two death registrations for a Francis Peter Audley one in Q1 1875 and the other in Q2 1875
You have found the one in Q1 1875. I do not know the source of your information but could you possible look at the source again and see if you can find one in Q2 1875.
Links to the 2 registrations are as follows:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details-civil/fa670918137464and
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details-civil/360a7918138502The confirmation of the death details for John Lindsay Audley in 1866 is great as I already have a birth of a John Lindsay Audley in 1867, which proves my suspicion that they had two children with the same name ( the second born after the death of the first)
I was aware of the marriage of James Audley to Catherine Cummins, but thanks for confirming the information.
The information from Slaters Directory is fantastic as it shows that Henry was alive in 1894 so it ties in with death in 1897. What was concerning me was that sone family information written in a letter dated 1930 suggested that Heney Audley died earlier than 1897. Slaters directory proves that information incorrect.
Can you possibly tell me the source of the information particularily the 1894 Slaters Directory; can you confirm it says Suir Navigation Office
