Hello BBaxter,

I realise this is a few years old now this thread, but I stumbled across it whilst looking into a certain James Paterson of East Kilbride who was alive during that century. Your relative you initially asked about - do you know what year James died in? I am unsure if the James Paterson I am thinking of is the same James.
