marriage look up please
« on: Monday 19 September 16 09:04 BST (UK) »
Would someone be able to look up a marriage for Richard Lacey to Ann Mournslough 20 Jan 1823 Asbury Cheshire -   I am lead to believe that Ann was a widow at the time of her marriage to Richard and was hoping to discover her maiden name by finding out if her fathers name shows on the marriage certificate- any assistance in this matter would be greatly received - Glenys Queensland Aust

20 January 1823 - Astbury
Richard Lacy, Ribbon Weaver, bachelor and Ann Mounslough (x) widow, botp by Banns.  Witnesses:  Joseph Field and John Pinner (possibly a church official)

I can't see any other instances of the name Mounslough so might be worth considering Munslow, as in this marriage :

Benjamin Munslow and Ann Sprowson 16 Jul 1818 Astbury

Marriage entry says that Benjamin was a Nailer.  Ann Sprowson made her mark.

Burial - Astbury - 27 June 1819
Benjamin Munslow of Congeleton, Nailer aged 21.

Added:

I can't see a baptism at Astbury for Ann.
