Leah Waimea JACKSON 1875-1958

Leah Waimea JACKSON was the 3rd daughter of Charles William and Bell JACKSON who arrived in Dunedin on the Waimea in September 1875. According to both her marriage and death certificates she was born at sea, and the birth registered in Dunedin.

According to newspaper reports there were three births on board the Waimea on the voyage from England, and guessing that one of them was Leah. Have seen the passenger list on Familysearch, but there does not appear to be anything about the births, or the one death that occurred.

Has anyone come across anything about the births, or have I not looked hard enough.

Leah married in 1904 in Melbourne to Henry Leopold LEPPIEN, an older brother of my great-grandfather.
