1907 Glasgow Electoral Roll
John Hughes 9 Caledonian Street, Iron Riveter
Is there any way of finding out if Catherine Hughes was living at the same address, if so they could be my great grandparents
Also Robert Hughes , glassblower, living 805 Garscube Road on 1892 electoral roll was definately my grandfather. Who was living with him? Wife Mary and cousin John

Thanks for reply
Definately the right family, I have been searching for granddad Robert Hughes for 14  years
He married in Glasgow moved to Gateshead where he died
He stated on on censuses 1891,1901 and 1911 that he was born in Aldershot, no trace there
Perhaps his father John Hughes was  in the army when his wife Catherine(nee McCulloch) gave birth to Robert

Women did not get the right to vote until after 1918 (for those aged over 30) so don't show on the electoral roll before then. On the valuation rolls, women only show if they were the main tenant (normally this applies to widows or single women).

Hi who's John, born when, parents etc?
Is he the John shown above 1891/1901 b c 1891, or father of Robert?
