Leicester Newspaper

Hello
        this is a long shot but does anyone know where the Leicester newspaper archive might be and
did they print wedding photos in 1922?
I know there was a white wedding and there was a photo but it was destroyed by the second husband
Just wondered if it might have been in the paper by any chance

If you are local to Leicester then a visit to a reference library may be worthwhile.  Otherwise a call to the Leicester Mercury perhaps http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/contact.html. to ask about their archives.
Or - if you have a sub to FindMyPast, there are five Leicester papers in their database.

Find my Past seem to be adding a lot of Leicestershire newspaper articles at the moment.  They have recently added the Mercury to the site (joining the Chronicle), and in just the last week or so I have seen an increase in the number of articles from these two, especially the Mercury, online. So if it is not on there yet, it may well be soon.
The Record Office in Wigston has all the old Leicester papers available on microfilm but you have to go through them page by page until you find what you want.
