Relatives/ancestors of Patrick Denis Byrne

Their child was born Nov 1916, it's possible they married in the first few months of the year, and we all know the chaos Dublin was in, it's quite possible the marriage was never registered.

That registrars writing is fairly flamboyant, I wonder if there are any 1915 Certs filled in by him we could have a look at.

I also thought it could be Gannon but the lack of a marriage record made me question it.

It's not the same registrar unfortunately, but it's a good idea.  I've attached a photo of the registrar's name - the typed birth certificate says C.A. Cusack, Asst.  I'll see if I can find any other entries by him.

Given the birth address of 55 Summerhill, I would assume the Byrne family were living at that address (a huge tennement house) or very close by and that means he would have been baptised at the Pro Cathedral within days of his birth.
I'd contact them and ask for a copy, see what the mothers name is on that.

Coincidentally a Denis Byrne of 30 Summerhill and his bride of same address were married in 1916 at Our Lady of Lourdes church ( Sean McDermott St ?)
