Agree PB, looks like an error on that passenger list. Mum was Elizabeth Ellen nee Walker.

Thank you Rosie and dbree for sorting out a very seemingly complicated matter. Fancy emigrating to Canada and from there to Australia via England-must have been good sea travellers!

Thank you -what super information about Jeanie MacKay Terry which gives an insight into her family and descendants. So she must've stayed in Canada and I wonder whether her brother did too or went to Australia?

Auckland Suburbs 1935
Also in1928/ 1935 Henry Edgar Terry and Lilian  ..Park Avenue Avondale occupation different ( carrier )

Looks promising Rosie  :) As there was mention of a Lilian in Jeanie's obit.

It might be worthwhile CR to post on the NZ board for Edgar and Lilian, they may be able to find an obit.
