Ella(Isabella) Macleish Irvine.
« on: Saturday 15 October 16 11:13 BST (UK) »
Good morning, again another of my Scottish Women's Hospital members from ww1. Having had a look in her file i can see nothing to help identify her.  She has put as an address Nessbank, Aberfeldy.  I know she spent time in Serbia during ww1 but i have absolutely nothing else to go on . Her Red Cross records give me her war years. Looks like she would have been born in 1882.  This possibly wont help or be the case but she might of had a close relative called Helen.   Sorry but that is all i have.

Thank you for looking
Alan

She is named in the calendar of confirmations as an executrix of her father's will. He died 8 May 1920. Her address is given as Nessbank. ( Executrixes nominated in will or deed dated 23 October 1913).

The family are at Nessbank in 1901(on one site transcribed as Iroldie!).

(Given that you can now do a free search of the 1911 census on SP you should be able to work out where she was in that year).

Possible death 1964 Dunborney and Dron, Perthshire (age 81).
