Barbados: Philip Rudder Farnum Jr, Table Hill, Saint Thomas
« on: Monday 17 October 16 02:53 BST (UK) »
Hi
I am seeking any info on the are known as "Table Hill" in Saint Thomas. I have been unable to find anything via searches. Specifically, I hope to find the name of the wife of Philip Rudder Farnum Jr (1812-1844). No joy in locating marriage record. He is son of Philip Rudder and Mary Ann (Manning).

The family's abode was Table Hill, Saint Thomas.

Thanks for any and all info!

In 1806 Sir James Willoughby Gordon, Bart. was named as the owner of Gales, also known as Table Hill, in St. Paul's, Antigua.

Wrong Saint wrong Island. Still trying.

Is his wife Mary Ann  .............. ?  Possibly Boyce ? No.  Look at the original PR on site below.

The birth  below was freely available on Google and was not from a paid subscription.

Angel Boyce Farnum was born before January 1807, to Philip Rudder Farnum and Mary Ann Farnum (born Manning).

Can't get into FamilySearch at the moment but from another source:

Marriage at St Thomas,  Barbados, 24 August 1799

Philip Rudder Farnum and Mary Ann Manning, by license

Sorry you will have that already - I now see that it's their son's marriage that you are looking for

Hi
Thanks. I did see Table Gordon in Antigua. I actually think I had it wrong all these years. I now see that Philip the younger was not my 4x great grandfather, but in fact my 4th great uncle! I attributed his son, Richard John to him, when in fact Richard John was his brother. I've made the necessary adjustment!
Thanks again.
Steve
