Dating of Sarah Jane Griffiths and Daughter Kate please

This is a Cabinet card of my great grandmother and her daughter. Dates won't help as Sarah Jane 1840 to 1918 and Kate 1870 to 1954. The studio was Elley (looks like) of 110, Southgate Road London, North. I can't find any Victorian/Edwardian photographers of that name on Google. No 110 is still there, a rather nice EOT house.

We were Forest of Dean then. Only reason I can think for London photography is William, son and brother was a London City Missionary from late 1880's.

Back is plain but carries negative number 435.

So they were 30 years apart in age.

I would say the younger one looks to be early 20 so around 1890.

My guess by the sleeves would be mid 1890s.

Early 1890s because for the woman on the left, her sleeves stand up straight from the shoulder in a sharp peak.  This sleeve design, according to photo detective author Maureen Taylor, was most popular from 1889-1892.

In 1891 there was a Henry Johnson, Photographer, 'Torbay Villa', Southgate Rd, N1.

Thank you very much for the datings. I thought early 1890's but thought it wiser to ask the experts. In the 1891 Census, Kate was in service in Cheltenham. She was married in 1894.
