Where is Burfit? Found it

 I have someone "of Burfit" or Birfit....and I know its somewhere in the area of Ripley but I cant find it.  Does anybody know where it is??

not sure how to do the image thing sorry...

its on the Ripley parish registers for a marriage and for baptisms as in John of Burfit...

ive been eyeing up the other places but a google search shows it being listed as a census place also?

the Marriage also lists a Whipley lane which shows up on google earth as being just near Clint which is why im presuming its not likely to be too far away

Google pulls up some references to Alexander Pope's grandfather being from Burfit Hall in Yorkshire.

And Burfitt Hall 4 miles NW of Barnsley.
Rose (Black Country),Downs (Black Country),Wolloxall (any and all),Bark (Derbyshire),Wright (Derbyshire),Marsden (Derbyshire), Wallace (Black Country)

Some old directories list a Burfit Hall at Kexborough near Barnsley. Modern publications list at as Birthwaite Hall. So there's an indication that Birthwaite and Burfit were pronounced much the same in Yorkshire.
