Hello all I have a relative Brutus Bucke died in 1643 buried in Bristol Cathedrel.
will dated 11 May 1646.
He was stationed on fort in Sandown Isle of wight.
His family came from Kempsey and Severn Stoke Worcestershire.
Father Francis Bucke mother Elinor Clifton born about 1570.
He had two daughters Milbrowe or milburge 1623 and Mary 1624.
In his will he left a tankard to Sir? William Hopkind or Hopkins.
anything about the fort?.
