Have you traced back the known people who owned the box company, you may be able to pick up a line from them?

It might be worth enquiring about Wyatt & Co at Southwark Local History Library & Archive

I don't know how to check which Wyatts were involved in the Wyatt companies. I wondered if anyone has ideas?

Jennifer - how do I find the 'known people who owned the box company' that you refer to? I do know the two people who were involved in the 1880 W.E Wyatt company as they are in my family tree already, but the reason I posted here is that I don't know how to find who was involved in the Wyatt Tin-Box Company.

Shaun - can't find any company info in the Southwark archive info on-line, and they say they don't offer any research support.

No harm in sending them an email. I've found them very helpful in the past.

Hi Cheshire Steve, did you get any further? I am fairly sure that this address would have been Lambeth at that time. I am in and out of the Archive (excellent little library) there and could do a little digging next time
