Have been searching  for info on the above people.[my Gt Uncle and Aunt). John Bryce Seggie [no nicknames]. and Irene Margaret Emery -Seggie. Last known address 43. Heddington Ave. Eglinton. Ontario. Canada Irene age at that time  67.John 75.. If anyone has sources that can look up death notices would appreciate it.

Found an obituary for Irene Mary Seggie - Toronto Star 2 Oct 2000, page B7.  She died in Cobourg on Sept 29, 2000, in her 79th year.  Was the wife of Jack Seggie for 52 years.  Mother of son J and wife E (Miller) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Rick and wife K (Gray) of Cobourg.  Grandmother of P, S, J and C.  Survived by brother Gord Dick and predeceased by Doug, Stan and Ken.

Thank you but John was never known as Jack Always as John Bryce Seggie or John B. Seggie

Do the other names in the obit sound familiar?  This John/Jack had a wife named Irene.

OK - Found John Bryce Seggie obit in the Globe and Mail newspaper... sept 12 1979, page 46.  He died in Toronto at Sunnybrook Hospital on Sept 11 1979.  Husband of Irene Emery.  Father of Bryce and Dorothy.  Grandfather of S.  Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery

Not seeing Irene Emery yet.  1981 there is an obit for a Muriel McKinney, wife of R.E. McKinney and mother of Eleanor (Mrs Bryce Seggie) of Ormstown, Quebec.
