Roberts Family
« on: Monday 26 December 16 19:36 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

i am back again! completely at a dead end. I'm wondering if anyone can help me? I've found the birth dates of this family, but i can't seem to find the deaths or any specific information on them?

i know for sure,

William 1845(ish)-1862 because I've seen his gravestone.
but the rest...!? :(

Thomas Roberts 1844(ish)
the dad, John Roberts 1812(ish)
the mother, Mary Roberts 1815(ish)

it started when i was trying to find if Thomas ever married and then i was trying to find there deaths too but i can't seem to find anything and know if its definitely the right information.

can anyone please help?
thank you x

Think that they were found earlier, keyboard.

Take a look at this thread before you use time searching for what has been found already -

many thanks!

Hi Lauren

On your other thread, Mabel found them on the 1861 in Conway, the year before William died. I've been looking on and off but haven't found anything really promising. Roberts is pretty common in North Wales (One of my main lines is that) so that and the names John, Mary and Thomas don't help in the search  :-\

Do you have any other info about them - did William's gravestone have any other information?  What is their relationship to your ancestors?  They could have migrated or moved to another part of the country, as John seems to have become an engine driver (?railway or stationary)  by 1861.

Think I might have found them in 1871

RG10/5736/253/40
Mount Pleasant, Conway
John Roberts, 65, engine driver
Mary, 65
Thomas, 24, butcher

Birthplaces as before.

There ages seem to vary quite a bit between censuses but theire places of birth and occupations are the same 61- 71.

I'll see if I can follow them up further  later this evening  :)
