I have a photo taken in about 1962 by my wife's grandfather who was an aerial reconnaissance photographer during and after the war. He was stationed at RAF St Mawgan in the fifties and early sixties and won a photo competition with this picture of the house.
He entitled the photo, 'the white house' and I assume it was taken close to the air base because the family story is that he waited a whole day until the light was right to get the photo he wanted.
Any insight into the location of the house would be great as I have no local knowledge of this area myself.
