St John, Blymhill (4 miles from Wheaton Aston)  :)

30 June 1802 - John Meddins, son of William and Sylvia.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Thanks for the look ups, I will study the info. Also I wondered if there would be any marriage for John Meddings who was born abt. 1803. He married Harriot Clemson and had my Great Grandfather also John in 1846,but I seem to think he was widowed twice before Harriot and remarried. They lived in Upper Penn. Thanks

Hi

When he married Harriott on 18 June 1837 at St Peters Wolverhampton, he does state he was a bachelor, she a spinster.
He signed the register, she left her mark
Witnesses: John Biddulph (signed)  and John Climpson (X)

but there is a marriage in 1832 in Penn to a Maria Fellowes ~ his signature does look similar to that in the marriage register when he married Harriott

There are also two other marriages of a John Meddings, one the signatures are different, the other groom left his mark in the register (X)
