Fully agree on Candy Craig / Candacraig - Billy Connolly used to own the large house there!

Indeed not! Though from memory it was on the market for a while, and was possibly sold off in lots.

Could it be a version of Candacraig written as Candy craig?

Well I read he kept one of the smaller properties but as he's a bit shy and did not want onlookers he also brought other properties surrounding the smaller property he kept to keep some privacy on his return trips from America x
