There is a Facebook page called "I Grew Up in Drimnagh / Crumlin". There are lots of mentions of Captains Ave. Perhaps that would be a good place to start.
Researching: Cronin / Nolan - Gortadrislig, Kerry
Finn/Clifford - Callinafercy and Scort, Kerry
Spillane - Milltown
Also:- Byrne / Tyrrell - Dublin
