St Peter and St Paul, Wing, Grave photo wanted
« on: Sunday 15 January 17 10:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi, is there any chance someone could take a photo of a gravestone for me in the church grounds of St Peter and St Paul, Wing.
The Stone is inscribed WILLIAM LAMBERT, Died 1930
                                 MARY LAMBERT, Died 1946
It would be wonderful to see as I am disabled and live in Witney, Oxfordshire.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Broadysword.

Had a look around churchyard at Wing, unfortunately couldn't find headstone for William and Mary Lambert, however a number of stones are covered in thick ivy and brambles, so it may be one of these will have another look when I get chance and have a strong pair of gloves on  :)

Thank you so much. I really do appreciate the fact you have already done a search on my behalf. My thinking was that as Mr Lambert was buried in 1930 and Mary his wife in 1946 the gravestone would not be as weathered as many of the churchyard ones are so being more recognisable. Anyhow if nothing is found not to worry.
My sincere gratitude.
Andrew.
