Getting Irish certs from Overseas

Is lifeevenvts.hse.ie a reliable site for getting certificates? They seem to be much cheaper than "official" sites.

Thanks for the very speedy reply. Very helpful. The certificate required is for obtaining an Irish passport, so would a photocopy suffice? Or does it have to be an original? Also, is it a long form certificate? Thanks again for your reply.

I would think you need a certified cert for a passport, more expensive but at least you should be able to order it online. Use the HSE site.

You need a full certificate, long form. Full documentation is required for every step from someone born in Ireland to whoever is applying.
