Missing Roche/Hynes marriage, 1920s
« on: Wednesday 18 January 17 05:44 GMT (UK) »
I wanted to get details on my great-aunt Mary Roche's marriage to Thomas Hynes, in the early to mid 1920s, but have been surprised that it does not seem to turn up on the Irishgenealogy.ie web site. I searched multiple ways, both in Wexford (where they were both from, and lived), nationwide, and in Britain (via freeBMD). Can anyone find this marriage?
Thanks

This one?

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FYNP-P3B
1923 Wexford

Yes, that is them, thank you! Now, why don't they turn up on the Irishgenealogy site???
I guess I can use some of the information from familysearch to refine the process, but I am off to bed...

It's Vol 4 page 455
We don't know if it's a sub district of Wexford.
I don't know how to tell the Vol from the images but this is one of the 455 pages
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1922/09197/5327088.pdf
Clearly not there.

another 455 again not there
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1923/09177/5319353.pdf
I worked up from this one https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FYNP-W2W
which is Vol 4 page 451
???

Is there some mechanism to report registrations such as this that seem to be missing online?
