Indeed it does.

'Common' names never easy!

Edward senior shows as deceased on Edward juniors marriage certificate (1899) and no occupation shown. He may well have died prior to the 1891 census, I have no idea. And without knowing Edward's mother's name, that leaves me a little stumped!

looks like the Edward on the 1881 census was actually called Richard Edward which might be why you are having problems
