Can you upload 23andme results to Gedmatch?

I'm still having trouble with my Ancestry DNA results.

I do not appear to have any matches at all in any of my father's lines going back to great great grandparents, which frankly puzzles me. I also have a match which purports to be a second cousin, where we also have no surnames in common.  I have however, independently, found a connection on my father's side whose daughter has taken the 23andme test.

I know I can upload my Ancestry raw data to the Gedmatch website, but I don't know whether this is possible with raw data from 23andme.  I also don't know whether the fact that we are within five generations would give us a match in any event.

Can anyone advise please?

There are instructions on Gedmatch as to how to upload raw data from 23andMe. The kits have the prefix M. Uploads appear to be working as I've had at least one new match with a 23andMe kit in the past 48 hours.

Zoe, I am prepared to risk my DNA data in most places, but I can't see how to add the necessary pinch of salt for that.
