Dead end again

Hi, I'd appreciated any help from the experts on here in finding my granddads sister Emma Wilson born 1899 27 Jan at 15 wharf street Wolverhampton. My granddad had 10 siblings, I've got the birth marriage and death certificates of all of them but Emma. In the 39 census she is listed as Emmie Abbiss living in coseley stafforshire, married to Samuel abbiss born 20 aug 1897 but its a bit messy and I fear a mistranslation as I cant find a marriage date for emma Wilson & samuel Abbiss or a death for either of them. Again, thanks for any help.

Samuel Abbiss married Emmie Collins 1921 Dudley, Staffordshire so I don't think you have the right Emma.

Who do you have as Emma's parents?

Hi Ellen, Emmie in the 39 census had the same date of birth of emma Wilson so I thought it was just a transcribers error. I know emma was still alive in the 1911 census but seems to vanish after.

Perhaps the above marriage is incorrect for your Emma as this could be Emma Higgs death record -

Have you got the Birth Certificate for Emma dated 27/1/1899? There is a marriage for Emma Wilson to Harold Higgs 1921 Wolverhampton and her date of birth is 20/10/1899.

Yes I've looked at this but it appears that the Emma who married Harold Higgs was in fact an Emma Elizabeth.You will have to decide which one is yours,an Emma born in 1899 or Emma Elizabeth born in 1898,both in Wolverhampton.

There was a Harold Higgs born 1921 Wolverhampton, Mother Wilson and on the 1939 Register there is another person living at the same address as Harold & Emma Higgs that has been blanked out.
