The only Baptism I can can see is for a Nathan Bower in 1765 is in Dorset, Parents Robert and Mary  :-\

Carol...don't think that will be him, unfortunately.  I think he will come from the Yorkshire area.  If the burial record is correct, he will have been born around 1760.

1841 Census Martha Bowers age 76 (1766), Independant, born in County, is in Wakefield with 1 Servant.
