Cant find a marriage
« on: Wednesday 22 February 17 13:53 GMT (UK) »
I cant family the marriage between James and Olive Thorley/Thawley. They were having children from around 1734 in Sandbach, Cheshire, then later Barthomley.

I understand these old records are sometimes missing or damaged, but just thought someone else may have better luck.

Hope you can help!

The only marriage I can find is

William Thorley and Olive Hall both of the Parish of Barthomley married 19th October 1733 at St Bertoline by Banns.

Could possibly be that the Vicar has put down the wrong Christian name.

There is a baptism for an Olive Hall in Barthomley 1712 daughter of John Hall

I can't find a baptism for a William or a James.
