I have a marriage record for Jeannie and her parents are listed as James Livingston and Jean Imrie Thompson. Her age is given as 25 and born in Toronto. Can any one confirm her birth and any info on her parents?

Jeannie Imrie Livingstone - aged 25 years - born 1873 - Toronto, Ontario married Edwin Mason.
Parents James Livingstone - Mother Jean Imrie Thompson Livingstone.
Witness Carrie G Livingstone. M J Leith.

Suspect the parents may be Peter Thompson and Jane Imrie - there is an Andrew Imrie Thompson born 1854 Glasgow who passed away 30 January 1929 York Ontario. This could be the brother of Jane Imrie Thompson.

Obituary for Jane Imrie Thompson Livingston in the Toronto Star - 10 Nov 1945, page 25.   She died "this morning" at her residence 352 Ontario Street.  Widow of James Livingston.  Sister of Miss Teen Thompson.  Mother of Effie (Mrs R. J. MacPherson) of Winnipeg, Helen (Mrs Dr W Mason) of Victoria B.C., John M and Gordon of Toronto.  Interment St. James Cemetery

The obituary is also in the November 9th edition of the paper... so the "this morning" must refer to the 9th, not the 10th.  I guess they repeated the obit word for word on the next day!!
