Assuming those entries are from FreeBMD one (age 36) has a link to a scan and, checking that, the age at death does say 36. Oddly the other entry on FreeBMD does not have a link to the scan it was transcribed from so I can't check it.
The GRO index says age at death is 36.

Joseph Dickinson died 1875 age 35

If you check freebmd - there is no 1875 death matching the info you give.  The only Joseph Dickinson death in Northumberland in 1875 was aged 70

Is Mitford in Northumberland?  The only one I can find is in Norfolk

As JenB says , yes there is a Mitford in Northumberland.
Genuki has details

It would help if I could find the 1871 Joseph or Mary/Andrew on the 1881

As a widow with a young son, Mary Ann may have remarried ( if that death reg is the correct one).
Not got time this evening to check that out but may look at it tomorrow.

The 1873 death aged 36 is a good match for the 1871 entry found earlier.  I have checked the full GRO index and there is only one entry in the September qtr 1873 which is for the 36yr old.

There is no 1871 entry for a Joseph born 1788 to match the other entry

One thing to bear in mind is that the headstone may not have been erected at the time of the deaths - probably some time later which may account for the discrepancy in dates/ages

Apart from Mary Ann being mentioned I can just make out what looks like Andrew's name

possible for Andrew in 1881
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q2WM-HVLD

Though his birthplace is transcribed on Family Search as Belford, I looked at the image and it looks to me like it could be Mitford (but the writing is challenging!) the presence of a  Rachel WALBY (Walby was his mother's maiden name) seems interesting
