For all of you with Celtic origins
Here's a sample album from my friends band

It certainly invokes Scotland for me

I've never been to Ireland. (despite my Irish spelt forename)

I thought I'd have a little listen to your friend's band, but the link just takes me to the home page of YouTube instead of showing a video.

Does anybody else have the same problem with the link?

Same here - maybe the video has been removed?

Brigid - could you tell us the title of the video, so we can listen?

Thanx
Philip

Meanwhile this one is my fav of all time, pertaining to the emigrants from 'The Hebrides', Scotland to Canada.

Yes, it's good, but perhaps I'm old-fashioned and have a preference for "old-fashioned" Celtic music.

Aly McBain and Phil Cunningham, The Corries - "Flower of Scotland", Dougie Maclean and "Caledonia" spring to mind, and last Sunday we went to see Craobh Rua (from Belfast).

If nothing else, you have to have a "fiddle", and at least one foot that won't be still  ;D

I don't have any Celtic connections, but the music is wonderful.  :) :)
