If the dob on that death registration for Dora Robinson is correct, I can#t really see anyone on 1939 census who fits.

Of course, she may have been known as Dora and put that on her marriage cert, but her first name could be something different like Eudora or Theodora

after rechecking my details I find I may have put the M in by pure accident. Sorry about misleading any one,I checked from daughter ( how i got mothers name) through to marriage details and found no M in the name and i have know idea when she died either

Could you tell us when and where this daughter was born (but not her name, if stlll living)?  Do you actually have her birth certificate as opposed to just index details?

There is a Birmingham Robinson/Round marriage in 1934 which may well account for at least some of the Birmingham births.  I am a little confused as to which births are linked with the Lewisham couple.

Their 1939 marriage certificate should give you both their father's names, occupation etc.....
if you wish to obtain this it can be ordered from the GRO https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/login.asp

Do you have any info. on her husband Ernest?

Ernest & Dora married in the 4th Quarter of 1939 so she would have still been Round when the 1939 Register was taken in September 1939.

There are also some pre 1939 Robinson-Round births in the London area. The Lewisham marriage could of course come after the children, if the whole truth was not told when they were registered

Yes indeed - and if that was the case one would expect to find the couple together in the 1939 Register, which would be very helpful :)

There are a number of Round families in the Lewisham/Deptford area on electoral registers in the run up to 1939. Can't make any fit though!

We also don't know the source for "born about 1916".  It doesn't seem to come from a marriage certificate or confirmed death registration.
