William Henry Hawley

Hope someone can help.

I am looking for a marriage in USA for William Henry Hawley born 1840-1842 Syracuse.

His bride would have been Agnes Wilson  born Shipham, Somerset, England. 1849.

They had a daughter Sadie Agnes Hawley who was born in Minosotta (I think it was Kitson County) circa 1880-1882.

I know the family finally emigrated  to Rat Portage (Kenora), Ontario, Canada. Agnes died there 1894 and William died there 1927. By this time Rat Portage  name had been changed to KENORA. I really hope someone can help

There are multiple towns named Syracuse - do you mean the one in New York or another one?

The 1855 census says that William was born in Cortland Co., New York - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K6QV-GRC

Anc transcribed as Haly in 1880 - Kittson, Minnesota.

William Hanly   40 Born York State. Farm Labourer.
Agnes Hanly   30 Born England.

Sorry haven't come across a marriage in New York or Minnesota yet.

Hi Everyone.

I double checked  his obituary about half an hour ago I had not noticed that it said he came from Albany, Syracuse. I did a quick check and I believe he must be the son of Isaac Hawley (Albany).
But I still can not find a marriage for William Hawley and Agnes Wilson.
