Hi

Does anyone know the years that Nicholas Reed had the Scots Gap Hotel near Hartburn?

The 1871 census shows him there, but in 1861 and 1881, he was elsewhere. So he must been there for a period between 1861 and 1881. I haven't been able to find any trade directories for the relevant period online (I'm in Australia). Nor have I been able to find anything in the online newspapers.

Any assistance appreciated.
