May or Alan Walmsley

Elizabeth Mary (May) Walmsley died in 1917 at age 11. My father Alan Thomas Walmsley was born in 1919. I only have one photo of May about 10 years old. Is this photo of May? Is it possible to enhance the face in the photo? cheers Trevor Walmsley, Christchurch, New Zealand.
