Did George have a sister Rose born 1910? Then if so her birth is recorded with Mother's maiden name Parrish.

These are the two 1911 Census's, but I do agree that the children that you mention on the 1901 census for Alfred do seem the same as Frederick in 1911.

1901 for the 'other' Holden family. There is no George born 1891 with them  Also this family are living in Worcestershire, where the George you are researching is from Warwickshire-

I'm of the opinion that George on the 1911 census with father Frederick is the same as the one on the 1901 (previously posted) with Alfred being his father. OK, the fathers names do not match but you can call yourself anything you want providing it's not for criminal reasons. Equally the names and birth years of George's siblings match well for the 1911 and 1901.

I think you're right, it looks like Alfred and Frederick are the same person, children's names and can't be a co-incidence ?
