I've now found and looked at the Army Record that sfg28 refered to and I’m know wondering
if the info. I originally posted and removed may indeed be the correct Charles Chambers - here's some of the info. taken from his Army record

The district BOSTON is in the county of Lincolnshire
the only thing that's doesn't appear to match up is his dob
I can only find a birth entry for a

possible marriage for his parents 1861 Lincoln
Thomas Chambers to Rebecca GARRARD
I still have the censuses record details for this Charles with father Thomas if you require them
