The Harold Freeman born 1894 has a mmn of Burnell

Marriage
John William Freeman/Jane Burnell Jun 1873 Wakefield 9c 77

Howsever in the 1901 Census John and Jane give year of birth as 1854 which would mean that wen Annie was born in 1917 Jane would have been 63. Therefore Annie is probably her granddaughter.

1911 has the address as 6 Long Row, Sharlston, so we've got the right family now!!
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

There is a birth record for Muriel Annie Freeman born 1916 Q4 Wakefield, Mother's maiden name Robertshaw. My Great Grandmother was born 16 Long Row Sharlston and I had a job finding her record until I tried Wakefield district on the indexes. When the birth Certificate came through it stated in the district of Sandal Yorkshire, all very confusing. ???

There is a birth ref for an unnamed female surname Freeman which fits with a possible birth in Jan 1917

Freeman Female Mar 1917 Ecclesall B 9c 702 mmn Freeman

I know it's not in the Wakefield area but it's the only one I can find.

So I wonder if Annie is that child, and possibly the daughter of Sarah A  :-\  The death certificate would confirm or deny my theory.

I was thinking that if she was illegitimate the mother may have gone away from home to give birth.

Sarah Ann Freeman married on 17 Apr 1911 at St Luke, Sharlston to Charles Chaplin Kirby, so is unlikely to be the mother of a Freeman child c1917.

Emma Freeman of 6 Long Row died aged 14 and was buried at St Luke, Sharlston on 14 June 1916.

Can anyone spot Faith - she appears in 1881 aged 5 months, and aged 10 in 1891?

Thomas marries in 1902 and James W in 1906.  Walter doesn't marry until 1919.  I've also lost Charles - 4 in 1891 and Joseph E - 1 in 1891 completely.  Plus I'm one child down on the 16 born to the couple.

Thomas - 1874 marries 1902
John Henry - 1875 - 1893
Mary E - 1879 - 1915
Faith - 1881 -
James W - 1883 marries 1906
Sarah A - 1885 marries 1911
Charles - 1886 -
Esther - 1888 - 1895
Joseph E - 1890 -
Levi - 1892 - 1893
Walter - 1893 marries 1919
Harold - 1894 - 1918
Alice - 1896 - 1896
Samuel - 1898 - 1949
Emma - 1902 - 1916
