I did see this but I think it may be a typo.

Why?

Younger sister Mary Ann's birth can be seen as having mmn Roberts too

Assuming this is her, lots of MAry Ann Roberts born in 1852!


Please ignore my post about not maiden name not being Roberts... think I may have got confused somewhere.

1881 census with Robert Davies, listed as "Rebecca":

The children appear to be listed on the new GRO index with mother's name as Hayman or Heyman in some cases and Roberts in others. No marriage located yet.
