Following the Brighton marriage of Edith Jessie Wenham to George Hope in 1894 here is the family living at 124 Gloucester Road, Brighton in 1901:

George Hope 29 Hairdresser London, Middlesex
Edith J Hope 26   Wife                 Pycombe, Sussex
Winifred J Hope 9    Dau             Brighton, Sussex
Albert E Hope 3    Son                  Brighton, Sussex
Georgina L Hope  1  Dau             Brighton, Sussex

Also with them is Benjamin Wenham  13  Nephew  Brighton, Sussex

You can use FreeBMD to look for the birth of a George Hope around 1872 in London although this is likely to be a rather common name.

  Pheno you have given the learning curve away, never mind, let's hope a search by SOPHIEDOG of a possible birth of George Hope ( Don't hold your breath) is forthcoming!

By the way the marriage shows him as George Hope Hope?
