I am looking for the children of the family McIver. I am trying to add to the family tree.
The parents were James McIver born 1806 in Antrim Co. Ireland and their mother Susan (McClusky) born in 1811. They had 5 children, Patrick born 1850, John born 1837, Thomas 1841 Susan born 1844 and William born 1851
Patrick was born in 1850 and had 3 children by Margaret(Hillis) Peter 1871 who died age 1, Elizabeth, Lizzie who is my great grandmother and Hugh. Lizzie and Hugh came to Canada. He also had another family with Mary McLaughin, Mary (Maggie) born 1887, Thomas McIver born 1899 and Susan born 1901.
John married Mary Ann and had Henry born 1864, James 1859 and John 1871
I have not found the children of Thomas, Susan and William.
The family seemed to live mostly around the St. Cuthberts area of Edinburgh and were shoe makers/sellers by trade.
